My journey began after I finished playing professional football, I was lost...I didn’t know who I was! I knew how to be a HIGH PERFORMER i.e great teammate, take in information at an incredible rate of speed and process it, as well as being great at paying attention to details but other than that Football was who I was...and once I finished, I went into deep depression.


During some dark months of my 1st year out of football, I became a shell of myself! My marriage and the way I parented my kids were the worst!! I had no direction and zero confidence in myself. Then I thought back to the best Coach I ever had. His name was Willie Shaw and he had simple formula, Assignment, Alignment, Adjustments & Assessment I thought about how I could apply that to my life.

When I came to grips that I needed to lead myself out of this dark place. I read leadership books, self help books and attended leadership seminars..but nothing really gave me results.


My rock bottom was when I accepted a job as a Development Consultant at a non-profit. After a couple of months on the job I started seeing the same dysfunctional patterns as I saw on the really bad football teams I played on, (poor communication, lack of strategie,toxic culture with 1 or 2 talented individuals but with bad attitudes) it all boiled down to the lack of leadership.


When I was asked to be the leader on a very important project that could help our cause and raise hundreds of thousands of dollars I failed miserably because of my lack of understanding what leadership was! I was embarrassed and angry, but not at the people who was leading….I was angry and frustrated at myself! I didn’t know what actually influenced leadership, especially for high performance driven individuals (which I once was)!

I started looking back on the good coaches & teammates as well as the bad ones during my journey in football and I peeled back the layers that I felt were important. When I filtered everything through the lens of my old defensive back coach (Willie Shaw’s) formula of coaching... it made perfect sense to me. I also realized that I needed a coach to help me with my overall development. It was one of the best decisions I ever made...it wasn’t cheap either (50K) but the knowledge that I now had gave me confidence to be a better coach to my high performance athletes and I soon began to coach executives as well as get on stage and motivate and inspire people from all walks of life. Needless to say, it was a very good investment w/ a high ROI.

When I made the decision to uproot our family and move to Oregon to be closer to my wife’s family and somehow get “in” with a global brand that I admired, believed in and had a relationship with (I used to be a Nike athlete) my outlook on life changed. I became a personal trainer at Nike WHQ, but along the way I became a Master Trainer and traveled all over the globe because of my unique way of training HIGH PERFORMANCE DRIVEN PEOPLE...more on that later. Oh, I forgot to mention that my master plan was to become a leading leadership and thought leader for Nike executives.


I'd finally cracked the code and I’ve been sharing my system with companies such as Converse, Hiya & the Atlanta Falcons as well as executives, business owners & high profile professional athletes.


I had figured out how to do this over and over again and apply it with different areas of my life.


I continued studying leadership and personal development with my coach until I had it down to a science and I became confident enough to step on stage and deliver my formula to the masses and to organizations (workshops). I’ve been doing it since 2015..and have been reaping the rewards ever since!
